Welcome to Herefordshire Headway. We are a Herefordshire based charity providing services to
adults (18+) who have a head injury or an acquired brain injury.
The day rehabilitation centre in Credenhill is spacious and well equipped, offering members a range of activities and therapies led by specialists.
A programme is agreed with each member, focussing on individual need and helping members to regain confidence as well as practical life skills in a supportive environment Most members join in with one or more of the therapies or activities listed in the Day Service Programme.
These are designed to be enjoyable but also to help individuals to regain and maintain skills lost or impaired by their brain injury.
The same care and attention to detail is shown in our care at home provision which is tailored to individual need and includes a whole range of potential support from shopping, help with gardening, visits to hospital, someone to help with introductions to social activities. Support with letter writing and setting up of financial management systems that clients can manage effectively.
Our main aim is to provide support and rehabilitation to members using the day centre, and through our outreach service. We recognise that a head or brain injury can affect the whole family and we offer specific support services for carers and family members. If you or someone you know would benefit from our services please contact us.
