CONTACTING US

At Herefordshire Headway, we take your privacy seriously. This notice explains how we handle your information when you send us an enquiry.

  1. What information do we collect?

When you email us or use our contact forms, we collect your email address and any personal information you choose to include in your message (such as your name, phone number, or details about a brain injury).

  1. How long do we keep your data?
  • General Enquiries: We typically keep your email and our response for 6 months after our last contact to ensure your query is fully resolved.
  • Referrals/Service Enquiries: If your enquiry leads to you becoming a member or using our services, your data will be moved to our secure member records and kept for 8 years after your time with us ends (in line with NHS standards).
  • Deletion: You can ask us to delete your email at any time by contacting our Data Protection lead.

MAKING A DONATION

If you are making a GIFT AID donation we do require your name, address and postcode for our HMRC submissions to claim Gift Aid.  We are required to keep these records for 6 years after your most recent donation we have claimed on.
