Charity Dinner at Brinsop Court
Our trustee, Tim Evans, masterminded a fantastic fundraising dinner at Brinsop Court. The event was held in support of Herefordshire Headway in the beautiful Knot Barn, generously sponsored by Brinsop Court, who provided the venue and staff. Fellow trustee Gerry Blyth assisted Tim in organising the evening, which saw guests captivated by a talk from Rebecca Stephens MBE and entertained by 60’s music from the band Laurel Canyon.
Steve Heptinstall, our new executive officer (Clinical Lead), gave a talk on the work of our organisation, which included a powerful video explaining the impact of acquired brain injury not only on the person but also on their carers and family. Guests then participated in a grand raffle with prizes generously donated by 18 local sponsors.
The successful event raised £9,809 for Herefordshire Headway’s vital work, supporting individuals and families affected by acquired brain injury.
A big thank you to all those who attended the dinner, especially table sponsors, raffle prize donors, A to Zest for providing the delicious catering, Richard Weaver Photography, Ellie Chowns our local MP, volunteers on the night and Brinsop Court for the venue and staff.
