Herefordshire Headway is fundraising for 16 specially designed dining chairs to complete the refurbished dining and lounge area in our Wellbeing Centre.

In this post pandemic world, we have changed our way of working and services we offer to people with acquired brain injury.  Our main activity and dining area revamp, all undertaken by staff, volunteers and members, has created a more flexible and relaxed environment to invite people back into our centre setting.

The main photo shows members, staff and volunteers joining in Hats off for Headway fundraiser in the revamped lounge area, finished with brick design wallpaper, retro radiators and artwork produced by members.

Turning to the other end of the hall you can see the activity/dining area.  Brick wallpaper again creates a feature wall which, since this photo was taken, includes stylish shelves displaying members craftwork, to complement the skeleton clock made by one of our art tutors.

This is the area where we need new dining chairs.

These special chairs, complete with skis for easy movement across the floor, will complete the hall make-over and provide added safety and stability for members.
