Headway in the sky!!

Return to terra firma after the flying experienceMembers and staff are heading for the skies over Herefordshire. Several trips in a four seater Piper light aircraft have been arranged throughout the summer, and day trips up to "Shobdon International Airport", our local airfield in Herefordshire are already booked up. The list of Group Members wanting to experience lift off seems to grow all the time, with some hoping for a second chance. Our Pilot informs us that any landing you walk away from is a good one - John Durrell asks "does that mean if I experience one of his landings, I shall be able to walk again!!!!!" - 'afraid not JD. Excellent lunches are had at the airfield cafe, and the whole day is great fun. The whole thing started because Malcolm's family bought him some flying lessons to remind him of the days when he was a pilot in the RAF. It was so cheap to upgrade the aircraft to a four seater so he could take some of his mates with him. The following photo shows the experience.
