Successful Community Fund Bid!

Successful Community Fund Bid!

Our successful bid to the National Lottery Community Fund will mean our services for people with acquired brain injuries, their carers and families will be further developed and reach out into the community.  A grant of £450,000 spread over 5 years will enable us to build a link between our existing services and new community and home based support and activities.

The project includes

Family Mentors

Support to cope with day to day challenges faced at home. Help to access local services and learn to make the best use of aids and adaptations. Mentor support to get out and about.

Carers Hub

Expert carer courses ranging from understanding ABI, using aids and adaptations in the home to keeping well while being a carer and benefit rights. Group meetings and social activities will also be on offer.

Short Breaks

A quick access drop off service for carers needing to attend appointments.
