Herefordshire Headway is in constant need of funds to continue its great work helping brain injured people and their carers in Herefordshire. We need about £20,000 each month simply to maintain the services as they are. Additional funds would help us to expand our services, help more brain injured people and improve our facilities.

Lean Operation

An important consideration for benefactors of any charity is what proportion of income goes into the administration and governance costs. At Herefordshire Headway, we run a very lean operation with our establishment costs pared to the bone, so that we can devote the maximum amount of funding for our therapists, carers and the resources they need.

Roughly a third of our funding comes from providing services for the statutory authorities, a third from charitable trusts and foundations and the remainder from private donations and fundraising.

There are several ways that you can help us to fund services. We are extremely grateful for every £1 we receive. But by supplying us with a Grant Aid form, if you are an income tax payer, you can apply some leverage to your donation by allowing us to reclaim the tax. This means that we receive an additional 28p for every £1 you donate.

Cash or Cheque

You can make your donation in cash to us by supporting one of our many fund raising events in Herefordshire, by calling at Headway House, or simply by putting your donation in our collecting box during one of our local collections. Or you could simply post us your cheque, together with your Gift Aid Form.

Standing Order

A Standing Order would give us regular monthly income and also allow you to spread your donation over a longer time. If you would like to help us in this way we would be most grateful.
