Gardening

The gardening group is enthusiastically run by Mark Smith of Headway's staff , who runs a course specifically for our group members. The first two pictures below show the garden when it was at the design stage, because when Headway acquired the building, it had become a jungle through neglect. Alterations to the building, further added to the problem, with piles of debris to be removed. A plan was drawn up to be implemented once the famous English weather permitted, and the ground was dry enough to get on!

Since then seeds were sown, and plants propagated to go in the garden. What a difference!
