Cookery

Every group day at Headway, wonderful lunches are served for everybody to enjoy. Our rehab./independent living cook asks for volunteer group members to help prepare the meal. Headway has been very fortunate in that we have been donated a very smart Gas Range from MFI, and a new dishwasher from Cathedral Hygiene . We also have quite a range of adaptable equipment available for people to try, to see if it would help them in their own homes. The emphasis in the kitchen is very much encourage and help group members to adapt and be able to cater for themselves, or help their carers and families at home.
